Well, here's an update, finally! This summer has been so fun for our family. We were FINALLY able to make it to the Swensen family reunion at Lake Powell in early June. Although everyone got sick at one point or another from some 24 hour flu thing going around, it actually was so much fun and so nice to see my family again. I hadn't realized how much I really missed them. Then the rest of June and July have breezed by... in a stressful way. We finally have our lives figured out for the next year - we'll be moving to Denver right after Pace gets married until Trev graduates in July of 2011. And we have an apartment too - which was a huge stress for a while.
I've been helping my dad out with his business again. We've been out selling a few times, and now I have a blog up for his business online (aviaryideas.blogspot.com). You know, although we haven't made any sales yet, I really feel good about getting involved in it again. I really feel pushed to help get some more sales on the way, and I'm planning on going around the old folks' homes in Denver to help get some lined up for dad.
In lesser news, I'm getting my motorcycle license tomorrow! Today I rode on the highway and the freeway for the first time, and it was so exhilarating! It makes me sad now that we're going to sell it right after I finally start enjoying it. Next week also is my performance at Comedy Sportz - my last improv class for at least a year :(. It has been so fun. I'll be sure to get back into it as soon as I can, though.
Dayton got his call today in the mail and is opening it later today. I'm so excited for him! I don't really see him going to South America - more like Western Europe in my mind, although I think he could go to Northern Europe or Australia as well. We'll see! My family is going through so many changes recently - moves, marriages and missions all so close together. Crazy.
