Homemade S'mores!!!

So.  Devri is now crawling.  She's a crawler.  She crawls.  It's amazing how quickly she picked it up once she got the hang of moving her arms and legs at the same time.  Gotta admit, she's impressive.

In less important news, I have experimented making homemade s'mores, and just finished with the marshmallow portion.  SO FUN!   It turns out that you can make them without refined sugar, and it's very simple and easy to make.  Just a cup of agave for the sweetener.  Here's the recipe:

Mix 2 packets of gelatin with 6 tablespoons of hot water.  Pour this into a mixer along with 1 cup of agave, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.  Mix 10-15 minutes, then spread in a greased and cornstarched pan.  Let sit an hour and a half, then cut up and coat with cornstarch.  Ta-da!  One of the best parts of these marshmallows is that they don't burn when you roast them (over the oven *smirk).  They just get warm and gooey right away, and you can cut them in the square shapes so they fit graham crackers perfectly.  I'm going to make the graham crackers and chocolate next, so I'll return and report those later.

Other than that, we're doing awesomely!
